Multicultural Pageant in Dublin Combines Beauty, Culture and Drug Education

Beauty, culture and community education came together in Dublin during the first Miss & Mrs Cross Continent pageant.

Approximately 450 people attended the Dublin programme, where 24 contestants representing seven nations presented their cultures, talents and personal messages.

Organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd. and sponsored by Broccoli Care Ltd., the programme was developed in collaboration with The Truth About Drugs Ireland.

Before taking part in the stage programme, contestants and visitors toured a Truth About Drugs news europawahl exhibition and learned about the effects of commonly abused substances. Several contestants completed online drug-education courses before the event, with some finishing all fourteen modules.

The Mayor of South Dublin praised the contestants for using their public platform to promote informed choices and stronger communities.

The afternoon also included Irish, Indian and Indonesian dance performances, reflecting the international character of the gathering.

Software engineer Niveditha Vudayagiri received the Miss Cross Continent 2026 title at the conclusion of the programme. The other leading awards went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin.
